For whatever reason, Tanada has figured out how to turn off the circuit
breaker for the computer, and then turn it back on again. This means that
I lose my internet access 2-6 times a day. I get it back, yell at the cat
(yeah, I know, she yells back at me), turn the mother computer back on,
then hope that I don't have to do whatever I was doing over again.

I think this qualifies as a b*st*rd cat trick.

That's really funny. But on the serious side...Could you tape something
over the switch so Tanada can't play her tricks with it? That's really not
good for a computer to be turned off and on by toggling the circuit breaker.
