You Paw shouldn't feel bad about not being with Mutt right at the minute
that he left for the Bridge. He had been in the room with Mutt minutes
before, and Mutt knew that he was nearby - as you kitties know, you can
feel the love radiating from your humans if they are anywhere near you.
So there is absolutely no question in my mind that Mutt knew that he was
loved very much much, and that your Paw was his heart-human, and I am
absolutely certain that Mutt is looking down from the Rainbow Bridge and
smiling and purring at your Paw. You kitties were there with Mutt when he
left, so you know that he left peacefully.

I cant talk to him about Mutt right now, because it will make him so sad
again, but you are right,
We were all with Mutt when he went to The Bridge, and he did go peacefully.

It's normal for you Paw to feel sad when he thinks about Mutt. My Paw
still gets sad when he thinks about Cleopatra, and about his cats from
the past. That's a normal part of loving a creature.

Mommy (with MMS) agrees and she misses all the 25 cats we have had over the
past 34 years,
and we agree that it s a normal part of loving a creature, like you said.

We hope that your Meowmie's knees start to feel better. I know that
really sucks when joints hurt - our Meowmie has arthritis in her knees
and hips and shoulders and arms and wrists, and she sometimes has a lot
of trouble getting around, but she doesn't hurt nearly as much as your
Meowmie does. We will send our best feel-better and healing purrs to her.
