Default Pepper - the swimming cat

I have posted two stories about my big orange boy Simba and figured I
should post one about his adopted brother Pepper. We had adopted
Simba to be my cat, however, he chose J as his person. After about 4
months we decided to adopt another kitten – Pepper – the amazingly
gorgeous tuxedo tabby. At the time of his adoption Pepper was 12
weeks old and very small. At about 10pm on the third night we had
Pepper I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed. Pepper, like all
cats, had fallowed me in to the bathroom and was watching ma as I had
a nice pee. Well, I finish and notice there is no toilet paper on the
roll. The extra rolls are on a shelf across from the toilet. So I
lean towards the shelf, lifting my butt off the toilet seat, to grab a
roll. At this point pepper decides to jump up on to the toilet. He
misses the seat and lands IN the toilet, and just for good measure
decides to summersault in the "dirty" toilet water. I am in total
shock! And just to make things even better, Pepper jumps out of the
toilet and starts running down the hall, shaking off the water as he
goes – with me chasing after him, pants down around my ankles and
yelling! Needless to say J. just about died of laughter. Pepper and
I got to take a late night shower. And I was up until midnight
sterilizing the bathroom and hall of the townhouse. I guess he found
a way to make me clean . Anyhow, I was not amused at the
time, but looking back I can say that it must have been quite a sight!

Sorry to hear that the little furpeople found yet another reason
for you to clean your abode. I'm glad though, that you decided to
share the story. I think that the funniest stories are ones that we
tell are the ones at our own expense.

Regards and Purrs,
