The power of the Brush!
I was sitting on the couch, when Cali ran past:
Me: "Cali" Cali: "Don't touch me" Trot, trot, trot,,, Me: "Cali, Brush Cali" Trot. Me: "Brush, Cali, Brush" Full Stop. Me: "Brush" Ears twitch. Me: "Brush" Ears twitch again. Cali turns around, comes running back and jumps up on my lap. Cali "Why didn't you say so in the first place." |

I used to call her my little 'Valley Girl'. "Ooohh! Brushing! Like that's the same as going to the hair salon, isn't it? Pamper me, Daddy!" I keep a kitty comb at my computer desk. Tapping it on the desk will sometimes bring me a collection of kitties impatient for their turn. (Tried it just now. Got Smokey with Lady Jane waiting her turn. Of course Smokey just had to be picked up, the big mook!) Regards and Purrs, O J |

She thought it was a game at first and was always trying to bite the brush. Her vocabulary is a little limited though (NO and her name), so you actually have to show her the brush to get her attention. |
