OT Sad news for any Pink Floyd Fans here

I first heard the news, on Monday.
Pink Floyd co-founder and keyboardist Rick Wright has died of cancer at age
65, Rick was kind, and a wonderful musician and will be greatly missed.

I could always view the loss of Syd Barrett as unavoidable. He was,
clearly, unable to continue with the band despite his increadible
contribution. To this day his solo works stands out in my mind as some
of the most exceptional music I ever heard. In the case of R.W. it seems
much harder to swallow what happened. It seems more like squabling
children than people with true problems. History seems to have proven
his worth to the band and I have to wonder how the others (other)
involved really feel about what went down at this late hour.

Odd, I was just listening to "Time" yesterday. This band was an integral
part of the youths and lives of so many. He will be missed.

Very true. As you know, Pink Floyd is my favorite band.
I looked at the Candle site this morning (Wed) and 63 Candles from 16
countries have been lit for Rick. He was very special indeed, and will be

Some of Pink Floyd's music are my alltime favorites like Atom Heart
Mother, Echoes and Wish you were here. I will go now and play some
