Default Wonderful Poem About Cat's Life

I found this on a website recently. I thought it was sooo sweet:

A Cat's Life

My first memory.
Snuggling in Mommy's warm fur.
I love my Mommy.

A pile of kittens,
furry brothers and sisters,
keeping snug and warm.

Now eyes open wide,
the world is big and scary,
run back to Mommy.

Tumbling and running,
kittens leap first here, then there,
Furry acrobats.

An angry voice speaks,
"Get rid of those kittens now!"
What did we do wrong ?

What is a "shelter"?
Why are we here and not home?
Where is our Mommy?

My brothers are gone.
My sisters are gone also.
Why am I alone ?

I sit in the cage.
Why doesn't anyone want me?
I want a home too.

Someone looks at me.
I purr and try to kiss you.
Do you want me, please?

Kind and gentle hands.
picking me up and kissing,
you are all mine now.

New place to explore,
new food, new toys and new bed.
I like this new home.

Gentle voice talking,
saying I am your baby.
Are you my Mommy?

Soft kitty kisses,
snuggled in my Mommy's arms.
I feel so safe now.

Time passes, I grow.
I love my Mommy so much.
Mommy loves me too.

The years go so fast.
Our bond grows ever stronger.
Our hearts beat in time.

I'm getting older.
Slowing down, getting tired.
Sleeping in the sun.

I am hurting now,
I do not feel like eating.
I am so tired.

Now Mommy holds me.
A stick in my paw, then sleep.
Mommy is crying.

A very bright light,
then a beautiful rainbow,
I am at the Bridge.

All the pain is gone.
I feel like a kitten now.
Who is that coming?

It's my kitty Mom,
coming to welcome me home,
giving me kisses.

I look down to earth,
I see my human Mommy
Oh, how I miss her.

Sad tears in her eyes.
Don't cry Mommy, please don't cry.
I will always be near.

In your heart forever,
waiting here at Rainbow Bridge.
Your kitty angel.

Oh what can you say to that?First I'm smiling then I'm crying, then I'm
smiling again, then crying again,
thank goodness I finished up smiling, a sad sweet
