Default film on eye

I just noticed one of kitty's eyes looks milky. Her other eye looks
normal.

She seems to be acting normal - any ideas what this could be?

just to clarify, I don't know it's some sort of film - looks like it
might be though.

Man, this does not sound good. Didn't you just take her to the vet??

Must be thinking of someone else. She had a URI when I first got her,
but other than that the only time she's been to a vet was for shots or
spaying.

Okay, but it doesn't seem to be an emergency.

Ya' think it can wait 'til tomorrow?

Why doesn't it seem to be an emergency?

There have been several threads here in the last few weeks referring to eye
problems that were correctable in the first day or two, but not so thereafter.
I'm not a vet, but I am a concerned cat owner, and if my cat had this problem,
I would call an emergency clinic if my regular vet were closed for the night.
Better safe than sorry.

I wouldn't consider it an emergency for myself.

Mike, can you refresh my memory? How old is kitty and how long
have you had her?
