Well as always the bad news first. Due to political BS in Orlando
Florida the last no kill private rescue center in orange county is
being forced out or faces fines of 250 a day. She has a temp shelter
in nearby Seminole county but is looking for a permanent place. If
everyone could go to her site and vote for ABC Home Make over to come
in and help I would be greatly appreciate

Every Hurricane Katrina pet victim that they had no room for elsewhere
she made room for them.



That really sucks a big one. For anyone who never heard that expression
just use your imagination.





The good news is my mom mad a rescue this morning she saved a
Pekinese dog that had gotten out she tracked down the owner and
returned the four leg. the dog had gotten out when the ambulance came
to take her husband to the hospital for a heart attack. She had cried
all night and prayed. She was in tears when mom brought the dog back
which was about 3 blocks away

At least score one for the good guys


This is, of course, great. it's nice to be a hero!
