Thanks Krista. It would be counter productive to say ANY thing to Mike. He swears that he knows it all and that us telling him anything is a waste of time for him. Sigh. Someday he may figure out that he could have learned from our mistakes. Pam S. who hopes Krista's Mike isn't like that Sounds a whole lot like my youngest brother, oddly enough named Mike. Dropped out of high school to "experience life". Once got arrested for breaking into a boxcar sitting on a railway siding and stealing a case of toilet paper. Worked in the oil fields, went to Hawaii and Alaska, before finally settling down. Got his GED, worked his way up through the corporate ladder, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't earn more bonuses a year than I do working. And, unfortunately for his daughters, he knows all the dodges kids use and is the strictest parent of my siblings. -- Steve Touchstone, faithful servant of Sammy, Little Bit and Rocky [remove Junk for email] Home Page: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/index.html Cat Pix: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/animals.html |

Mike's tearing up the medical training program at Kitterel. They're talking about trying to get him into college and medical school. He's almost a month ahead of the rest of the kids there. We always knew he was smart. Now he's proving to us that he's not lazy. Though he says we "stuck" him in there and that he hates it. Pam S. who can't win with Mike That's great! Going to medical school would be like going from 0 to 100 in 5 seconds though. Those guys work something like 100 hours a week! |

A big Aussie "Goodonyamate" to Mike for putting in such a great effort. We all knew he could do it, but I bet he's surprising himself the most. Yowie |
