Nocturne has been very clingy lately. She didn't much approve of our
trip to Maine, even though we had my friend next door coming in to
feed her and the others (much nicer on the nerves than a kennel
trip). As might be expected, my friend rated "acceptable to be in
the house" but not much higher--meanwhile Smokey (the cuddle wh***) is
getting all his usual lovin' cause he'll lovebug anyone. Since we
returned she has been very nuzzly, bunty, cuddly particularly when I
am on the computer. (Yes, she's affectionate to those she deems
worthy.)

The other day I had to do a series of computer tests via email in
order to prove my skills for a job application.

Let me tell you, the "convenience" of doing tests from home is shot to
hell when une Nocturne jumps up on your desk in the middle of the
Excel users test--which, by the way, is timed and partly scored for
speed.

Nox was quickly deposited on the floor and I resumed the test, getting
an above-average score.

Next came the typing test.

Halfway through, Nocturne began to bunt my leg. Of course I had to
ignore her, I had five minutes to type as fast as possible.

You can imagine how hard it is to concentrate on speed typing when a
feline/shark hybrid is BITING YOUR LEG and she's GNAWING....

I have a typing speed of 91 WPM and a sore thigh.

You might want to ask your prospective employer to add in a "Nox
factor" to your typing speed.

Good luck, BTW! I hope you get the job!

LOL. Nice story! Pua always bites my arm when I'm typing. When she bites,
she bites and twists. It doesn't always feel good.

Anyway, much luck on the job and next time, bite Nox back. :~)

(SNORT!)

My little Mimi used to claw my @$$ while I was typing (don't worry, I rarely
did it nude :P)

Impressive typing speed I am a secretary and I would tangle my fingers
together if I tried to hit that speed!!! I probably at best hit 75-80
but usually as soon as I do that I think "Wow! I am going fast!" and
as soon as I do my fingers wrap around each other and the sentence
ends like :J;j;s;jjsdjj;ldj;ld

Even more impressive when you add in the Nox factor
