Default Sunday relaxation

After getting up at some forsaken hour to see Hubby off to the airport, I
later bought a paper to read. First time in a very long time, as I read them
on line normally. So there I was, on the sofa, just spread the paper open on
the other seat. 'Ooomph!' All of a sudden, Memphis landed smack in the
middle of it and settled down to have a sleep!
Since this made reading impossible due to his considerable bulk, I picked
him up and moved him. Two minutes later he was back. I gave in, let him have
the first few pages, and relegated myself to the floor to read the rest.I
know my place! He stayed in place until HE decided to move (which was not
for quite a while).
Both Memphis and Phoenix are now sleeping on our bed.
Aahh, the joys of being a cat slave!

LOL! I spread out my morning papers on the kitchen table and read while
having my morning tea. Caliban must often join me and sprawl all over
the papers. I push him away but he always sort of oozes back onto the
paper. Sometimes, he climbs onto my neck instead and tries to sleep
there while I read the paper. It went OK when he was a kitten, but now
that he is a big boy of over 5 kg it doesn't work very well any more.

Both Amber and Tiger like to sleep on paper so I save old papers and put
them on the couch next to me for them to sleep on.

He's a very adorable mommy's boy. I don't know what it is, but they
do seem to like blocking us from reading.

Rusty likes to sleep on newspapers too. So instead of recycling, I also
save old paper for him. But sometimes he chews on them and there would
be bits of paper all over the floor.
