Default initial checkup shots and altering for kittens cost?

For a kitten that was obtained privately and has NOT had all the shots,
checkups and altering, what can one expect to pay to have that done.? If I
adopt through a shelter I pay them $70-100 and the kitten as everything done
or payed for already. So I was wondering about the cost for this
alternative when adopted privately.

Also, do the humane societies offer these initial shots and nuetering etc ?
If so is it much less then the local vet?

Any insight appreciated
Thank you

It's good that you want to do what's right for your new kitten.
Your Vet's office should be glad to give you a full picture of costs.
You then could use these for comparison.
Also check with your local PetCo, they sometimes have shot clinics.
Eventually, you may want to at least have a well kitty visit to meet your
vet.
