In the fine newsgroup "rec.pets.cats.anecdotes", "Annie Wxill"
artfully composed this message within
on 25 Aug 2004:

This morning Jim got the results of his ultrasound. There is no
sign of a blood clot. All blood vessels are clear.
The best guess is that a muscle next to his shin bone cramped
and grabbed onto the adjacent nerves or something like that.
His next assignment is to make an appointment for a functional
capacity evaluation to determine when he will go back to work.
Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming support, and especially
to Howard for the valuable information.
Annie (& Jim)

Very good news, Annie!

Well, you'd sound right at home at a rodeo in the U.S.
Annie, who was born and raised in the U.S. West, but never quite managed the
"yee haw" yell.

I'm so glad to hear that it's not something more serious. Purrs continuing
anyway.
