Microchip tag

Claire helped me fit Boyfie's new collar yesterday as his current one is
approaching the end of life.
I like him to have a reflective collar because he goes out at night, and I
like it to be a soft one but the only soft reflective one I could find was,
well, a bit blingy for a chap. Gold glitter..
So I took the opportunity to fit the inch square plastic tag to it that the
vet gave me. It says "I am microchipped. Please scan me and phone Petlog
(then the phone number)" What a brilliant idea these tags are. I thought
he might not like something dangling from his collar, but he doesn't mind at
all.
Luckily he has no embarrassment factor about his bling. I've told him he
looks like a film star and gold glittery collars are *him* ;-)

P.S. I had to hold him down to get his new collar on and after it was done,
he ran off with those scared eyes I hate to see. Took two hours for him to
approach me again.
