I thought I lived in a cell phone dead zone, but it turned out that it
depends on your cell phone service provider. I switched to another
carrier and now get reliable reception in many places where my old phone
did nothing. You might want to ask people which company has the best
coverage in your area, and also invite friends to bring their cell
phones from other companies to your home to try to make and receive calls.
