Default Purrs for next Friday (Semi OT)

Next weekend Victoria Park gets invaded by a load of weirdos!

Or that's how certain locals see it- it's the 2nd High Voltage
festival 2 days of rock! And yes we have our tickets

Anyway last year Dave mentioned it to Tony who runs a sweet little
local club called BH2 so Tony booked a couple of cover bands and Dave
mentioned it to people on the High Voltage forum with the result that
Tony had one of the busiest evenings of the year

So come this year Tony allowed Dave free reign basically the 22nd was
his to do what he wanted with and Dave who is actualy good at this
sort of thing dealt with band managers to get a sweet little line up
that is only a fiver to get into but today his star attraction had to
pull out due to an injured drummer, which also might mean losing the
sound crew...

He's already got another decent local band possibly lined up we are
waiting to get that confirmed otherwise it might not go ahead even
through it's got 50+ paying customers potentially ready to hand over a
fiver so some purrs for it to go ahead...All profits (ticket sales
less a couple of minor expenses- bands are playing for free and I've
said I will cover the travel costs for the keyboard soloist to get a
cab to and from his place with his keyboard call it my donation in
loving memory of Dunzi) + a percentage of the bar profits are going to
a local charity I suggested- The Celia Hammond Animal Trust

So can I ask for a few purrs that Dave can sort the band problem out
and it will be a big success and raise a few bob for Celia?

Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press
'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?

loads of money is raised for Celia's trust.

We have the sound guys sorted again and are just waiitng for a call
but also have some bands on reserve- they know they're going to get a
good crowd
