else...

I got on the scale just now and I was at 99.4 pounds. Just .60 pounds
away from triple digits. OK, it's the end of the day, so I promised
myself I won't be depressed and disappointed if I get on the scale
tomorrow morning and see that I've lost weight overnight. I'm probably
full of fluid plus all the stuff I ate all day weighing me down. But,
hey, I'll take what I can get.

Once I hit triple digits, I can breathe a sigh of relief. If I can stay
there and gain even more that would be heaven!!!

Please, could I have some purrs for that .60 pounds to magically appear?

Prayers and purrs on way for you to gain and keep more weight!!

I knew it and I said I would be disappointed, but this morning, before
eating or drinking anything I was 95.4... so 4 pounds of fluids
overnight - that sounds reasonable, right?

If anyone can figure out how to transfer it, you are certainly welcome
to have as much of my excess as you'd like! G

I was glad when I hit triple digit. My problem is keeping it there. I

to get on a scale these days.

wouldn't it be nice if those of us who are carrying far more poundage
than we need could simply share it with those who really NEED more weight?

Oh, but there is. Haven't you heard? Obesity is contagious! "Studies have
shown" that fat people are more likely to have fat friends. The theory is
that if your friend is fatter than you are, that helps you relax about your
own body. Also, because your fat friend obviously shoves vast quantities of
food into his/her mouth, he or she is giving you tacit permission to do the
same. Voila, you become fatter.

That poor horse - every time it takes a step, it trips over the cart. Maybe
fat folk have fat friends because people who are stigmatized need a little
support? And they understand that there's safety in numbers? Hasn't that
occurred to anyone?

I think these scientists (and I use that term liberally) have missed the
opportunity to tap a wonderful resource. Why not send fat people to countries
suffering widespread famine? We can make friends with the starving people
there and they will magically become fat. Problem solved.

Well done, Lori, I hope you continue to steadily gain weight over the
next few months.

Did you by any chance read this? Toward the middle, "nutritionists"
interviewed by ABC
okayed it and stated ":many Americans" indulge, just not all the time.
"Many Americans" are not ordering the rest of the Americans what to
eat...and more
insulting, messing with what children eat in school. Many jokes have
been posted online
with color pics of the new "portion plate". Mainly after the Shake
Shack news, LOL.
Can we spell "h...y...p...o...c...r...i...t...e..."?
