I email Hill's to ask if this was a test market in PetsMart or do I
need to raid every store for the any remaining cans, and I explained
why. A woman at Hill's actually called me on the phone and said they
had stopped production of that variety. There won't be any more.

Uh-oh - that's what my cats eat! Did she say why they have stopped
production? Is it of all Savory Cuts, or just the Ocean Fish, or just
the Senior?

Waltham makes a more palatable alternative.

I agree about the minced chicken k/d. My kitty wouldn't touch the
original canned k/d formulation.

She seemed to like the newer minced chicken
variety of the k/d, but the problem is that she licks her wet food to
the sides of the bowl and then can't get at it.

Put it on a plate. It works for Jacob.

Works for Cheeks too until she licks it off the side of the plate and then
pretends like it went away forever.

I bought oval bowls with sloping sides instead of the "straight up" sides
found on many bowls. They are also very shallow bowls. This worked for
mine, and they also will leave a lot at the edges if I use some other bowls.
The ones I got are available at PetSmart and Target (cheaper than PetSmart).
They are white with a blue design -- picture of a cat in the center of the
bowl, fish around the sides, and a checkerboard-design around the bop edge.
A plate with a sloped "lip" also works.
