insid. There is furry big fat joosy burds wif long legs heer but meowmi neva
lets us owtsid to cotch them. sumtims Jasmeen (no i will not call yu
prinsess jasmin, JASMEEN cos yu ar not the boss uv meeee) sumtims Jasmeen

*snicker* Don't EVER tell Onyx I told you this story... he'd claw my
eyes out (although he himself told this very story once upon a time).
My parents had some company over a couple years ago, and that company
included a small baby (3-6 months old, IIRC). Anyway, during the
course of the visit with the company, the baby started to fuss.
Eventually, the baby started to cry. Onyx was SO caught off-guard by
the baby's crying that he *hissed* at the baby. He did NOT like that
baby's crying whatsoever, thankyouverymuch. I think he was startled, I
think he was confused, I think he was scared, and so he reacted the
only way he knew how to... by hissing at the baby.

I don't know how he's reacted since then to babies, but if that
experience is any kind of a benchmark or indicator, my guess would be
that he is leery of all babies now. I wouldn't be surprised, if a baby
came to his house, to hear that Onyx ran and hid from the baby, given
his past experience(s).
