"One Two" wrote snip trolling I just made this pasta sauce out of bits and pieces that I found in the fridge. olive oil pureed tomato chili powder oregano basil salt, pepper mashed tomatoes canned maize blue cheese Sauté the chili powder and pureed tomato in the olive oil for a minute. Add mashed tomatoes, maize and spices. Cook a few minutes. If it is too thick, add a couple of spoonfuls of the boiling pasta water. When pasta is cooked, add crumbled blue cheese to sauce while draining pasta (you need at least four hands for this . When cheese has melted, add pasta into sauce and mix, making sure the sauce seeps into every fold in the pasta (I used fusilli). Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top. Ohhh, blue cheese, my favourite. I only have 2 hands though. I have no hope of making this one. Helen Wheels |
