Is it possible to buy pawcuffs to stop cat jumping on to kitchen work
surfaces to eat scraps of meat etc? Would putting pawcuffs on puss be
considered cruel?

Oh hell, no. I put my cats in chains all the time. It's tough getting
those little leg irons
on their little legs.... Uh....how about NOT leaving
scraps of meat on the counter?
