Hot diggity! She has an interview with the newspaper folks on Tuesday,
November 18!

This might be premature, but Nancy (my wife) has learned of a job that
she's decided to apply for. It's close by, a *real* job instead of that
contract nonsense she worked at ESRI, and it's in a field she has a lot
of experience in and enjoys working in.

We'd appreciate purrs that the folks at the company find her resume
interesting enough to giv eher an interview quickly, then decide to hire
her.

With the current state of the economy, just finding a job in a field one
enjoys can be a major accomplishment.

Dan

Ya-Hoo, Dan! Here's hoping the interview goes well.

The power of purrs shows itself once again! Nancy got the call today.
She has to go in for the drug test Friday, then she starts the job next
week.

Ya-hoo!

Just about every employer in the US now requires that prospective
employees pass a test to show that they have not been using illegal drugs.

The job is news editor at one of the local newspapers. It's just what
she's been looking for, since she's been working in the newspaper
industry since the 70s.
