Hairball remedies
What do you use for hairball remedies for your fur children?
I had been using Petromalt and another one, then I read that they may not be healthy for them to ingest. Thank you. Mommy of: BigBoy, Princess, Mr. Boots, Ms. Tigger, Sugar and Spice and Ms. Blue Belle |

Pumpkin has high fiber content and should be a healthy choice. Winnie |

Hairball remedies
My vet said that using things like Petromalt coats the stomach and the
cats don't absorb nutrients from their food. So it should be used short term only. My cats won't eat pumpkin. I have had great success with Temptations for Furballs. Grocery stores carry it in a foil packet. On Sep 15, 7:57am, bigboy wrote: What do you use for hairball remedies for your fur children? Hairball remedies
I provide oat grass which seems to take care of the problem. They throw
grass up once in a while but I rarely see a hairball. ---MIKE--- In the White Mountains of New Hampshire (44° 15' N - Elevation 1580') |
