Sylvia That's the whole idea! He stopped doing it outside and started using the bath. Which I am not happy about. I'm learning that meowing outside my bedroom usually means "get up, I want breakfast" but if he starts galloping up and down the stairs after the alert meows it means "I need a poo desperately, and if you don't get up and let me out, you will have a present in the bath" Like this morning. 6.30 a.m. Damn the light mornings. Sylvia I think it was a behaviour problem to get me up early. I told him off about it and it's no longer happening. I threatened him, that if he was a dirtyboy, he would stay out all night in the conservatory. Not so bad, comfy bed, can get out for toileting. Cold. Lose your bedroom otherwise. since I had a word with him no pooing in the bath. |

Cold. Lose your bedroom otherwise. since I had a word with him no pooing in the bath. That's good. He obviously got that you meant it. Judith Yep, he got it. He pooed in his bedroom instead :-( I'm beginning to wonder about feeding him some dry at 10 pm - whether he needs to get rid of it before the morning. He doesn't need to have it really, its only because he likes dry so much that I give him a bit of it at bedtime. I don't want to take his dry off him but I want him to stay in his bedroom overnight, and if he's going to poo on the carpet, we will fall out big time. I am up for the bath-pooing but carpet pooing is not allowed. No way Jose. He will find himself in the conservatory overnight. It's not so bad. There's a nice bed in there and he can get outside to toilet. Would not mind so much except there is a litter box in the next room from where he pooed. Feet away. With earth in. I've told him he's off to the cat's home and I'm sure someone will never take a dirtycat on who only loves me and imagine that you nortyboy. Don't mean it of course ;-) Tweed |
