Phil. I wanted to elaborate on an exchange a day or two ago; that post
is lost somewhere in a really long thread. I don't remember which one
it was in!
Regarding your mention of Kevlar gloves. I am not familiar with them,
could you elaborate please. I have regular welding gloves to protect
against bites and scratches, but they are awkward and cumbersome and
about 10 sizes too big.
I tried to email you but it bounced.
Thanks
Sherry

I used welding gloves too, and had the same problems that you did -
especially when transferring a feral from a net or drop trap into a cage -
very cumbersome and don't prevent some bites. Kevlars also great for
pilling ferals - although you might still need to use an olive picker or
pill popper - which are also easier to use with the kevlars.

The kevlars weren't cheap but the first time you use them you'll forget all
about the cost. The gloves run a little larger than size so order your true
size- and not a larger size.

I bought the gloves from Tomahawk

If the link doesn't work click on this one http://www.livetrap.com/ and
scroll down to "Safety Gloves". I have the longer (18") deer skin gloves.

You'll love 'em!

Phil
