Default Two weird things

The makeup brush, which had been Odessa's favorite toy when she was
sequestered after her hospitalization, is nowhere to be found. Louie and I
have made a disaster of the house looking for it. Two days before she left us
I dropped it into a box of Louie's undershorts fresh from the laundry. The
Odessa-Doll liked to go into the box and retrieve the brush; we'd hear her
playing with it at night, scooping it up, tossing it up and letting it drop
again and again. It just vanished into the blue, and we didn't see it
anywhere around the other cats' favorite hiding spots.

We went to lunch a while ago and when we came back, we found Odessa's collar,
which had been on the shelf by Louie's side of the bed under a bunch of
computer books, dug out and lying in the middle of the bed. Our babies were
all sound asleep when we returned.

Blessed be,
Baha
Now too weirded out for self-pity

It would sound as though your babies are remembering her in their own way.
Remember to talk to them and tell them all you can. They may even think you
misplaced her and want to remind you. But they do have a way of knowing
what we say.

Maybe the Doll had it transported to her to remember you by.
