Can cats catch a human cold?
Last week I had a bad cold. I feel much better now but my youngest
indoor only cat is now sneezing and doing little kitty coughs. So far Psycho, my oldest, hasn't gotten the cold yet. But did I give the cat my cold? Is this possible? Thanks. Bob -- Somewhere in Texas a village is missing it's idiot. ANYONE but Bush in 2004! |

Bob No. The colds humans get are caused by a virus that is specific to humans. I dont think it's possible. But it is the time of year for allergies, which
kitty might be experiencing. "Bob M" wrote in message ... Last week I had a bad cold. I feel much better now but my youngest indoor only cat is now sneezing and doing little kitty coughs.
