crystals in urine - urine too alcaline
Hi
my male cat (3 years old) is in the vets with a problem. rather ill and crying when he tries to urinate. vet says urine too alkaline and has given him a catheter and antibiotics. vet says he has a blockage due to crystals in bladder. he is fed both dry (Frisky) and wet food (Felix) and has water available all the time. what food additive is best/easiest to raise ph level of urine to more acidic please ???? is this the solution ? cheers tia |

Hodge is on Hill's C/D, which has worked well for the past year. No problems since. thanks. does this have to be on prescription from the vet ? what's the cost/cheapest way of getting it ? cheers |
