The house next door to me (I live in a terrace) is having some

Pandora, has been supervising the work from under the Rosemary bush in
my neighbours garden where she likes to hang out for hours and hours
on end.

This morning, one of the builders knocked on my back door to ask me if
I "knew anything about the little tabby cat who kept hiding under the
bush in the garden". Apparently, he was becoming really concerned
because she never moved, just watched, and she was there from when he
got to work in the morning (7am) to when he left at
night (6pm) and she hadn't moved for 2 days and just hissed when he
tried to approach.....

We got to talking and after I had thanked him for his concern and put
his mind at rest about the fact that Pandora was one of my owners,
actually thought she was from Building Control and was supervising the
work and perfectly OK, I started talking to him about his like of
cats....

It transpired that he'd lost his 18 year old cat 3 weeks ago to cancer
and his cat had been an ex-feral that he'd caught in the garden
himself as a 6 month old feral and tamed up himself...

So, spotting an opportunity, I introduced him to my current foster, a
hard stray tabby boy called Duggan who I trapped on the weekend...

Needless to say, it was love at first sight on both sides (Duggan
hissed and then offered a cheek to be rubbed), I did a homecheck this
evening and dropped Duggan off with his new adoptive dad. )

I'm looking forward to catching up with the builder tomorrow! )

Wow - that`s really good work!
So good to her a good story for a change.
Isn`t it again amazing how fate works?

I completely agree!!

TBH, he'd have a hell of a job to catch Pandora though. Even I would
have to trap her if I had to catch her in the garden.

Let's give Pandora some credit too. It took her forever to get the humans
to respond properly.

(Though she may just have been eager to get rid of Duggan)

It's true. Pandora deserves some of the credit, whatever her reasons.
