Spicey likes shows with animal sounds. New Age & soft rock are her preferred
music choices.

And your furkids' preferences?

Brenna likes Enya, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, The male singer with the
Glenn Miller Orchestra (whose name completely escapes me right now),

Tex Benecke?

and
similar "golden-oldies" and new agey stuff.
Brenna *does not* like Dean Martin, Rock (hard, soft, or otherwise),
country/western, too much talking - play the darn music already!!

Stinky is broadminded. He likes opera, piano music, string quartets,
Renaissance music, blues (Chicago and Delta). Country music is a
definitely no-no, though.

I think so, but I'll have to check that particular tape and see. He has
a wonderfully rich bass speaking voice, and is one of the few Brenna
likes to listen to talking as well as singing. I still think it's funny
that I'll turn on the Oldies station in the car and she'll be fine until
Dean Martin comes on. Then she starts hollering. And a couple of other
singers I often confuse with Dean Martin are fine. Go figure.

For the record, Clifford (RB) ignored music, but liked two things:
animal shows that had dogs, coyotes, etc., in it, and speeches by Bill
Clinton. He would sit and stare at the TV through the entire State of
the Union Address.

I understand that on the farm where he was born, as a planned kitten, he
wandered over to the simultaneous Brittany Spaniel litter as soon as he
was mobile. He may have thought he was a d*g.

Howard Berkowitz had some very interesting things
to say about Cats and Radio:

Kinda reminds me of the time when I was little [before I started
school] that we had a litter of kittens and a litter of puppies at the
same time. Mama Dog kept stealing the kittens, putting them in with
her puppies, then caring for the combined brood. Needless to say, Mama
Cat was not amused. The humans were :-). [We did keep returning the
kittens to their correct mother, though. :-)]

Yep, he sure could purr. I didn't agree with his politics, but he sure
could purr.

All of our furkids love Animal planet, though we had the cable
removed over a year ago and they're getting used to talk shows
instead. They love "Cops", especially the black and whites (and
Pine Cone of course).
Action shows are very popular with them, with cartoons being
NOT on
the watch list. Jerry Springer, Montel Williams, Maury, and The
View are on the hiss list, but Oprah is very well liked. They
also watch Judge Joe Brown, Judge Judy, Peoples Court, and
Divorce Court. I think they like the dramatics.

This reminded me of a pic I hadn't put up. Rhett likes TV, and here
he is watching the news.

Awww! Is he keeping track of the baseball trades? He looks so cute
perched on the arm like that.

NOTE: There is another "Shamrock's head" in this shot. What an
attention seeker he is!

Oh, how cute!! He seems to be a sports fan.

But I don't see the Shamrock Head (TM). Unless that's him up on
top of the cat tree, in the far right of the picture? He doesn't
look particularly interested in the proceedings.
