Default My cat loves German whole rye bread!

But only this expensive German brand: http://www.mestemacher.de/english/fwk.html

Is it good for her? It is good for humans, thats for sure.

Probably won't hurt her if you give her a nibble now and then. =o) My
cats love english muffins. Especially the buttered parts.

It is not a balanced diet and so she should be getting most of her
food/nutrition from properly balanced cat food.

A couple bites won't hurt her, though. My Smokey loves sandwiches and
pizza and demands a little taste of each. He used to be a feral and
ate a lot of garbage especially leftover military rations.

It won't hurt her but obviously shouldn't be her only source of food

I had to perform the Heimlich maneuver on Persia once when she snagged a
piece of melba toast from my hand and started choking on it. Rye bread
isn't hard like melba toast, but make sure your kitty has small pieces and
chews, rather than inhales
