Wonderful cat tale
Love cats? Yours as much a source of joy and never-ending
entertainment as mine? I am owned by a 22lb. red tabby named Tigger who is sure I'm either his Mother or his woman, and equally sure that the outdoors is Hades or the like. I am owned yet again by a petite female named Bijeaux, a tailless, cross-eyed little black and white cobby who at just the right angle looks like a little cow. Though typically deferential to the males, she baits and controls them much more than they realize and thus, in her own subtle way, rules the roost. I think also that she reaps some sort of twisted pleasure out of torturing the neighbors, that is, by ever so nonchalantly prancing about on the window ledge high above the sidewalk which, as it happens, is within delectable reach of the ornate header over the building's entryway. I also, and finally, am owned by a young and exceptionally active/ vocal male angora named Gabriel who counts it his prime mission in life to retrieve anything that crackles and who is seemingly so aware of his own beauty that he literally poses whenever the camera goes to clickin'. And all this in an apartment in downtown Federal Way, really not much larger than a two-car garage. Never a dull moment. Pictures forthcoming. If you're like me, hardly a day goes by that does not include something in the way of some reportworthy adventure, some mischief one or the other of these prime critters has gotten into. I'm sure you have plenty to share of your own cats' misadventures, curiosities and random acts of uniquely defining behavior. Purr-sonally taken, Renelson23 ...@^^ |

We now live in North Carolina with our eight feline owners and the d-thing (dog). I'd love to swap cat stories with you, but my computer is very virus infected at the moment and I'm not answering personal emails so that I don't infect others. It sounds like you've got a wonderful group of owners. 22 lbs - Tigger is a large cat! I'm owned by six fuzzy masters. Cleopatra is an elderly silver-furred kitty that looks sort of like a persian, and she pretty well rules the house. She was originally my cat (or should I say I was originally her human) when my wife and I married. She has now adopted my wife as her human. Amelia is a plump, loving tortie who loves to ride on my shoulders while I"m drying off after a shower. And she's heavy enough that provides some exercise to me in the process. Tabitha is a solid black furball, about 6 years old, who didn't used to like to be petted but us coming to enjoy it now. She and Amelia love to groom each other, and their grooming sessions always turn into wrestling matches. Sammy is an orange tabby boy who was dumped as a kitten. He's quite the snuggler now. Harri Roadcat is an orange tabby girl. I drove a semi for a couple years, and the last 9 months I was on the road Harri road with me. If you Google for "Harri Roadcat" you can find a lot of the stories I posted about our adventures. Finally, Ranger Greykitten (aka Rangemaster, Rangemonster, or the Blanket Master) is all grey except for a white patch on his chest. He's the youngest, and the most likely to get into trouble. They all love to spend time in our fenced back yard, but lately they haven't been spending as much times outdoors as they used to. It's getting kind of chilly in central Iowa now! Dan |
