Another mouse bites the dust....
Please pardon me if this is a repeat - I don't see it on my server nor any
replies.... After many days of hunting and seeking and waiting and hoping, my DH came home from work to find that Sweetie and Joe had finally lured the mouse out and caught it. Unfortunately, they don't know how to kill a mouse. Neither one of them. And when DH tried to take it from them, Sweetie grabbed it up and ran away. He didn't want to chase her too much, for fear it would end up under our huge heavy waterbed frame, so he did what any man would do (kidding) and waited for me to get home. When we got home, Sweetie was sharing the mouse with Joe a bit for fun and games; tossing it in the air, mouse hockey, etc... Joe, notoriously slow, was easy to distract, and then I dropped a paper towel over the mouse and he lost it. (Hell, he loses us when we go to bed - this was no difficult task confusing Joe Kitty.) I went to get the mushy food to reward the mighty hunters, and DH took the towel enshrined mouse out to the trash can. TBird --- needs a barn cat because while graining the horses, a mouse ran RIGHT OVER MY BOOT. The noive! |
