Zelgadis can't *stand* being picked up, but knows a good cuddle with mom
or dad when she sees it and will take advantage of that one spot next to
us as soon as somebody lays down in bed.

Sounds a lot like a Luna I know.

also when we're playin a little rough and she thinks shes super bad-ass.

and elevator butt (someone else mentioned this)

and so many more hilarious things.

i love my cat,
pam

I made her a stuffed sock toy that usually dogs go for.
It's as big as she is. She'll sneak up and pounce on it, then put a
bear hug on it and dig all teeth and claws into it.

I've also trained her to stop biting my toes. When she would bite,
I'd say "UH OH," and she'd change the bite to a lick.

Now when she pounces on my foot and opens her mouth to bite, she
remembers and immediately starts licking my toes.

I think my cat is half dog as he loves playing fetch. He'll bring up one of
his toys place it near your hand and wait intently till you throw it. He
will play sometime for like a half hour. The funny part is when my wife and
I are watching television and not in the mood to throw it. He'll come up
with a toy waiting to play, he'll sit for a few minutes and realise nothing
is happening. So he'll go. He then goes and gets another toy and the same
thing happens. Nothing happens so he does it again. First time he did this
we were sitting watching tv not paying attention to him. But there was a
commercial and we then noticed that there he is sitting patiently looking at
us with three toys in a pile just waiting for us to throw anyone of them. It
was cute. So i threw all three at once he did not know which to go after
first.

This is why we have cats :-.

My additions:

Pepper running at 180 mph from the family room, to the front room, through the
dining room, through the kitchen and back to the family. This repeats about 3-4
times where each time he runs over a different piece of furniture. It ends with
him plopping down on the island, panting away.

Chloe picking out her toy d'jour (d'nuit?) from the bowl of toys in the family
room. Bringing up to our bed in hopes we'll play with her.

Chloe "sacrificing" a toy to the food god. Every day we find a toy either in her
food dish or beside it.

Pepper nudging me at 3:30 in the morning so he can curl up beside me and sleep
in my arms.

Chloe trilling and rolling every time you talk to her. Her standing up, nudging
me and trilling when I'm busy on the computer (hey, pay attention to me).

Pepper playing chase the ball in the jacuzzi tub every morning.

Chloe playing fetch with her fake mouse.

Seeing my wife knitting with Pepper asleep in her lap and Chloe asleep behind
her on the back of the couch.

Both talking to the various animals in our back yard.

Both following us constantly where ever we go in the house. Who needs dogs :-

Pepper pushing open the shower door every morning. Drinking from the fountain
(bidet) every time we are in the bathroom.

-when her mouth hangs open cuz she smells something

-when we play with a dangly toy and she jumps up on the bed

-her paw coming under the door when we play the "sock game"

-the sound of her crunching her food OR drinking water. ::::thip thip thip
thip:::

-playing hide and seek with her and seeing her peer around a corner.

what about you'se guys?
