Default A new first for Roxy

Hi All,

About a week ago I mentioned how nice it was to wake up to my little
Persian adoptee, Roxy, coming up on the bed for kitty snugs. She's
still doing it, and several times a day, as I must take frequent naps.
Up till yesterday though, it was always what she wanted and when she
wanted it. She's been coming up to me at the computer, meowing, and
giving me little kitty pats when she wants to play, but she's never
come to me when I called her before. I've made the gesture of patting
my lap, a table, or the arm of a chair which most cats seem to know
means I want them to come and sit where I'm patting. She finally did
so. I looked at her, called her name, and patted and scratched my
fingers on the top perch of the kitty tree. She thought about it for
a few seconds and then came bounding up the tree. Naturally I
rewarded this behavior with the best ear skritches, chin skritches,
and elevator butt skritches. I'm so jazzed! I think she's on the
road to becoming a real snuggle bunny.

Regards and Purrs,
O J

Aww, what a good girl. And good daddy to be so patient with her.

She must realize that extra affection is worth the effort
