It has been uncommonly cold here, and there was even some of that icky white
stuff, but that was OK because I stayed inside, and then the hoomin took
some of it and threw around the balcony for me to hunt and kill, and that
was fun (see hoomin's post Snow! from a few days back). But today the icky
white stuff has vanished and the hoomin says it will be a bit warmer now for
some time, but then the white stuff will probably be back. Why can't it just
stay away? Who needs it?

Just the thought of you, my love, will keep me warm in the coldest of
weather.
