I got confoozled
I was raised with dogs for pets because my dad hated cats,
to his dying day last year.... and they thought I was allergic to them.
NOT!!
IMO, sheepdogs are wonderful. I love BIG d0ggies, Sheep dogs,
Newfies, St Bernards..my parents had a St Bernard named 'Dinky'
, a long time ago, (over 40 years)
Dinky was sooo funny, he'd take up the whole livingroom when he layed on his
back all splayed out, fast asleep, and snoring. He loved to watch TV and oh
this is funny, my parents always kept a big bowl of those big Brachs
gumdrops in a bowl on an end table. They'd go out, and when they got back,
all but the green ones had been consumed by Dinky. He'd sit on the couch
and look soooooo innocent.
He was a big drooler, as most big doggies are. but *shrug*
The only dog we ever had that I really hated was a pit bull, name of Chico,
when I was about 12, (I'll be 63 next month) and he was trying to tear my
leg off, by grabbing and tearing at the jeans I was wearing, growling all
the time.
What did my parent do? They were so busy laffing at me, they didn't care.
I was scared to death. sheeesh
