Default Biskit Update

Well, maybe I should say *lack of* an update. I had to take DH for a procedure
in the city today and in the afternoon called to see if I could pick up
Biskit. The receptionist said she was fine, but was "wiped out" still from the
surgery and suggested we leave her again overnight. I am still quite worried,
mostly because she still seems like such a frail little thing. I know they are
tougher than we think though. Thankks everyone for the purrs and hopefully some
good news tomorrow.

Purrs that all went well with the procedures, both DH's and Biskit's.
Will be looking for the update, and still purring that the tumor was
just a cyst or something benign.

Not that it has anything to do with the thread, but your post reminds
me of when I took Rocky in for neutering. I took him in the day before
the procedure, since at the time he was still a little wild and
wouldn't stay inside overnight. They didn't get to him until late that
next afternoon, so he ended up staying another night.

They called early the next morning, saying he was ready to be picked
up. Then called again about lunchtime to check and see when I was
coming, and sounded kind of eager to get rid of him. So, I called it a
day (one of the benefits of being self-employed), went and put away my
landscaping equipment. and headed on down to pick him him.

When I got there, a tech went into the back to get him, then came out
for reinforcements - eventually it took three techs to transfer him
from the cage to the carrier. I could hear him at the reception desk,
howling and hissing from the back, giving them what-for. He was pretty
tame with me, but still enough of a feral to give them holy h*ll ;-)

Hey friends.
I just got back from picking up Biskit. She seems *very* well considering. And
the vet said the "tumor" was more like just a fatty mass. He didn't think it
was a bad thing at all.
I am *so* relieved to get this over with. Now if she'll just quit spraying we
can all settle down. I have been told she probably will after the spay surgery.
Thank you *all* for the purrs. Such a difference.
