Default Saying goodbye to Miss Violette

I'm just a lurker here, although I've been reading posts regularly since
early 2003.

I'm sorry I have nothing to contribute; I'm not much of a writer. I just
have one cat, and while she's very, very sweet, and I love her to bits,
she has little to say :-(

But I have enjoyed immensely reading Miss Violette's posts, (and the
entire community here, of course) and I went back and counted, and I
have saved over 460 of Miss Violette's posts (!), over the past 2 years
or so.

I have saved many, many threads, and I often go back and re-read them.

I just wanted to express the sorrow and sympathy, of a stranger, over
the tragic loss of such a wonderful cat as Miss Violette at such an
unfortunately young age. (Sniff......)

Life can be very unfair!

But I have archived hundreds of her posts, and she will live on in my
heart and mind, each and every time I read, and re-read, and re-re-read
them for many years to come.

And perhaps Miss Violette will entertain my 2 RB kitties, Lucky (6/9/99)
and Blizzard (4/10/2001) with some of her many interesting stories.

I was very fortunate to have Lucky for 16 years, and Blizzard for 18
years, although the time seems awfully short now. looking back on it....

Goodby Miss Violette. I will miss your wonderful posts here on RPCC.
