Here are some pictures of Bandit's wounds as of this morning. I am just
continually amazed at the recuperative powers of our feline friends.

If you click on each of these pictures you can see the full-sized picture
directly from the camera. I did this for two reasons - first you can see
how well the wounds have healed in only two weeks, and second you can see
how *beautifully* tipped she is. Especially on her back where the hair is
shaved you can see how each hair starts at the root as brown then darkens to
almost black and even has some yellow spots - gorgeous!

What a beautiful girl. I'm so glad to hear she's healing up quickly.

Yep, she's a tough old bird. I'm so glad she pulled through this,
for a while there I thought I might lose her and I'm just not ready
to face that yet. I'm hoping she'll be the first cat to live to be
50!

As Snoopy is a couple of months younger than Bandit, maybe she could be
the second. :-)

She is very beautiful, and it looks like those burns are fine. At
first, I was in dread of how many more spots you would discover, but
fortunately, that was the end of them.

Bandit looks so friendly and affectionate.

Since Frank is a couple of years older than both the ladies, *he* will
be the first, and Bandit and Snoopy can be second and third. Oh, no,
Nikki will be the second, sorry ladies. ;o)

She looks great! Her eyes just glow...are they really that green?

Yep, they are. Everyone asks that - and everyone who sees her in person
comments about her eyes, never fails. Some of the shots, I've had to
"Photoshop" to try to get the red-eye out - of all the cats she has that the
most when I try to take a picture of her, for some reason - so those look
sort of funny in pictures. But here's the color they are in real life:

capture her real personality!! ;).

Oh, I don't care how she ranks when she gets there, as long as she gets
there!!! ;

She is a lovely girl -- look at those gorgeous green eyes. In the last
picture you can see she is "smiling". Purrs that the rest of her life is
healthy and happy. MLB

Thank you. I too hope that the rest of her life will be healthy and happy -
after this the poor old girl deserves that!

Hugs,

CatNipped

She's a stunner. But all your girls are.

Thank you, you're right, but then I think all cats are stunning - even poor
old "whitely" outside with the scarred up face and the half an ear whom I've
been trying to TNR for over a year but who's too street-smart to be trapped
(he's never hungry enough to go for the food when it's inside the trap since
he's quit hefty and can hunt his own dinner if needs be).

Hugs,

CatNipped
