Joel was raised on a commune (ie, hippie central) for the first 5 or so
years of his life. Throughout that time, he breast fed not only from his own

doctors were flabberghasted that not only he *survived* the accident, but
that his ribs, sternum and spine remained unbroken. Apprantly his bone

Yikes! What a story! At least that means that you can beat up on
your hubby as much as you want without hurting him!

This person posted on another ng about the family cat getting into his/her
grandchild's crib when the baby was not in it. So to correct this problem
they set mouse traps in the crib. Albeit, upside down, but we're talking
mouse traps. Said it worked wonders to keep the cat away from the crib.
I'm sure it did. In fact, I can just imagine the curious kitty tapping at
the trap, turning it over and getting a paw slammed into it. People with
this mentality should be drawn and quartered.

Hear, hear. And it's not like cats are that hard to train. All of mine
know to avoid any tablets I drop (some are very bad for cats) and ditto
my hearing aid batteries. A few days, a bit of patience and the training
is done. How hard is that?! Using a mousetrap in that way is cruelty,
pure and simple. It makes me wonder what they will do when the child
misbehaves.

That is an understatement! Before we were officially going out (but madly in
love) he had came to the club we met at with a wrenched neck. I spent over
an hour giving him one of my best massages to relieve the pain, only to be
told that he gave it to himself by oggling some well endowed woman who was
jogging past the car he was travelling in!

Even more proof that he surely is a dedicated breast man is that he can walk
into a lingerie store, and without ever having asking me my size in such
things, can bring home 3 different bra types for me, all of which actually
fit just fine. I have no idea how does it (and perhaps I don't want to find
out!) because even *I* have trouble getting myself fitted with those things.

Poor bloke, when I was first pregnant, the boobs increased dramatically in
size, but were so damn tender, I bearly stand the water from the shower
hitting them, and they were therefore very much completley off limits to
Joel. There he was, with his dreams come true, and not allowed to do
anything about it! He was most, err, frustrated, to say the least. The
tenderness has worn off now (thank goodness) but I can still look down and
not recognise these two huge things on my chest - they certainly don't like
like anything like my old ones (and don't fit into anything like the old
ones either!)

They may or may not decrease in size after the pregnancy is over. Mine
didn't decrease in size, though most women's breasts do. So Joel's
dreams may come true, Rob's did.

Okay, I understand parents love their children. I really do.

When I suggested they simply close the bedroom door, the response I got was
well, the baby is less than 2 months old and is on an 'on demand' breast
feeding schedule and so they have to keep the door open. Oh, and they said
it's easier to train the cat to stay out of the room.

I don't know about you folks, but I wanted to say, has your daughter ever
heard of a baby monitor? In fact, have you?! I also wanted to say, "On
demand" doesn't sound like the way I'd raise a child. But maybe that's just
me.

I recall that post. I don't agree with the mousetrap method, but I've heard of
it before. Generally there is a blanket or multi-layers of newspaper placed
over the mousetraps so there's no chance of the cat getting hurt. Just
startled. I don't think I'd want to close the door to the baby's room, either.
But in my case, the cat really didn't want much to do with the little hairless
squawking kitten, so it wasn't an issue. Feeding "on demand" simply means you
feed the baby when it's hungry, not on a set time schedule. Not as bad as it
sounds. :-)
