Default Some good news about Kenzie

"Gandalf" ...
And it's about time, too!

Kenzie had a markedly enlarged lymph node near the hinge in her jaw.

It was 8-9mm; a good sized lump that was easy to palpate.

TED gave her 2 antibiotic injections, and put her on amoxicillin.

She had no signs of an infection: no fever, normal white count

And now the lump is completely gone. Yea! I was concerned it might have
been a lymphoma.

I will start Kenzie on the Tapazole for her hyperthyroidism again
tomorrow. I'm going to try giving her 1/2 the dose of Tapazole, for 2
weeks, at least, and then try to increase it, slowly, and hope she
doesn't get sick again.

I hope my plan works: Kenzie continues to lose weight.

That IS great news. I think your plan will work.
She has to gain more weight, not lose it...tell her that.
She is going to be just fine with the love and care you are giving to her.,
PURRS

This is a bit worrying - if you can't turn this around, she'll probably
need more tests. Purrs it's nothing serious.
