Also, cat pee glows under a black light -- make sure you get all of the pee
stains out - if there is even a little bit left the cat will smell it and go there again. Good luck, LeeAnne "David Combs" wrote in message ... In article , wrote: Use Petzyme Cat Spray and Odor remover. It is available at Petsmart and costs about $11-$12 for a gallon. It works much better than Nature's Miracle. Megan Thanks, will try it. QUESTION: where to (not so expensively) get LOTS of that stuff, like by the gallon? Nature's Miracle. Try someplace like Petsmart; not maybe the cheapest place, but will have it cheaper than the grocery store, because you can buy a big huge bottle. You might also check in a smaller name pet shop; they might have the big bottle as well, but cheaper. And as someone else said, use blacklight to make sure you've got it all out, and give the NM time to work; it should say on the bottle how long to wait before reapplying if necessary. Also, make sure it soaks all the way down and around the stain, because the smell won't go completely unless it reaches all of the stain. And even if you get it so *you* can't smell it, remember kitty's nose is 40 times more sensitive than ours, so you've got to make sure the smell is *completely* gone as best as possible! Also, check out this article, The Unabridged Guide to Litterbox Problems: http://www.catsinternational.org/art...ged_litterbox_ 1.html Hope you get the problem solved soon, I know what a frustrating (and *stinky*) one it is! All the Best, Ann We have 5 cats, a few of whom occasionally pee to mark turf. We have tried them all and the best is Mister Max http://www.mistermax.com. |
