Default Are my cats normal?

Last night I was in a real hurry, the trains had been bad and I had
about 10 seconds to collect some things from home and feed the Furballs
or I was going to be late for my game...So I grabbed the tin, pulled
the ringpull and realised...

I'd picked up a tin of tuna by mistake.

Oh well I thought it won't be wasted. I've never given the kitties
hoomin tuna before so I poured it in their bowl telling them what a big
treat this was..

Sarrasine took one sniff and walked off with a look that said "Are you
trying to poison us?!"

Redunzel didn't even approach the bowl

My cats don't like proper tuna!!! I thought they'd be up for it as tuna
catfood is a favourite of theirs!

My cats won't eat tuna, either. They won't eat people food of any sort,
except crab meat. It is, what it is.

Tuna is overrated Since Persia came to me as an unknown cat from the
outside, when I first took her to the vet he wanted her to take worm pills.
He told me to buy some water-packed tuna and tuck the pills in it. Persia
turned up her nose at it and it wasn't the pills, trust me, it was the tuna.
Even *I* don't eat canned tuna. LOL

I don't think there is such a creature as 'a normal cat.' ;o) Frank and
Nikki used to like tuna - when they first started getting
hyperthyroidism meds, I used to hide it in a little tuna - but I haven't
even tried it with Mir and Cali. I don't eat tuna myself, and I usually
feed Caliban pouch food from the petstore, so I'd hardly pick up tuna by
mistake, either. Miranda, of course, doesn't eat any cat food, so she
might very well like tuna. Too much tuna isn't good for cats, of course.

I had a Siamese years ago who wouldn't eat canned tuna unless I put mayo in
it and made tuna salad! She wouldn't touch it plain.

My Rexie now, Siamese, male, almost 4, doesn't like fish of any kind.

Loki and maMA will eat anything, and I do mean anything!

Mine have always enjoyed the liquid from water-pack human
tuna - I've never tried them on the fish itself. Of course,
the tuna cat food is much more "fishy" tasting, I think,
since it's made from the darker parts of the flesh, (Humans
preferring the light meat.)

If you give our girls tuna they'll lap up the juice with all the
eagerness of a kid getting an icecream cone - but they'll carefully
lick AROUND any actual tuna flakes that are in the bowl and ignore
them!

Talk about a picky kitty - Harri Roadcat loves the water from cans of
solid white tuna, but turns up her nose at the water from chunk light tuna
