Default Grumpy Cat

I have a neutered male cat. He was really a happy cat until we got a new
kitten(I work at Lowes and found her all the way on the top racks in a box).
He was pretty good with her when we first got her, didn't really care that
she was around. But as she's getting bigger he seems to be getting worse.
When we let her out of our spare bedroom when we are home, he seems to get
really miserable. Walks around with his head down, and doesn't want to be
around anybody. She unfortunately adores him and follows him around like a
little sister. He's also gorging himself with food and throwing up a lot
now(we've been to the vet a few times and he says he's perfectly fine). So
is this just part of the getting used to each other phase? I really hope so
cause i miss how he used to be.

Thanks for any help.
