OT - Latest Dr. Report
My intestines are definitely dying - there's only the question of whether
they can dissolve the blood clots before they become necrotic and disintegrate into my abdomen, while not killing me with a bleed-out (they're standing by with both a surgeon and blood transfers - at least I'm O+, which they have a lot of). If they can't reverse the process I'll probably die, but if I do happen to survive the peritonitis and without intestines, I'll be fed through a vein with TPN (which doesn't really give you everything you need to survive) and I'll never eat again - personally I'd choose option A if given the choice. Sorry to be so dour, I'm not in the best of moods just now. -- Hugs, CatNipped See our clowder at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped/ See the RPCA FAQ site, by Mark Edwards, at: http://www.professional-geek.com/rpcablog/ |
