declawed?
What is best for my daughters-kitty--
She is about 10 months old-very nice and smart-but she scratches-she always jumps up on Dini... should I get her front paws declawed? she is an indoor cat and never goes outside.. thanks Michael |

Michael I bet you will not have to continue them long. Is your daughter very young? When I was little our one cat would "bite" me, not enough to break the skin, but to dent me. It didn't even hurt. It was when I would try to move her away from something like the door. She would not do it to anyone else. She knew I was young with no authority. She became my best friend until I went to college and made me go to bed every night by dragging a sock out and meowing until I went to bed (this lasted well into my teens). I became "her kitten" even as a teen ager. I bet as your daughter gets older they become good friends. |
