Do they ship COD? I wasn't asked for a credit card number.

I'm pretty sure I paid beforehand.

IIRC, you had to register as a "partner company" or something and then
purchase stuff. I had no complaints.

Hmmm... I guess I don't want the blanky THAT much. I'm sure there are
other sources... anyone seen something cute and fleecy like that
anywhere else that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

And I have *GOT* to have this fleece blanket.

Have you ever actually ordered from ABC? If you order more than one
item,
they charge much more in shipping than they do for one item. They
pretend
they don't have it in stock (if you purchase multiple items). Then
they
charge you extra to ship the other items.

Jill

I ordered the "grandcat" tee, but I'm beginning to wonder if that was
a
mistake. Do they ship COD? They didn't ask for any payment
information,
nor did they indicate what the fee for shipping would be. Also, they
only
ship to businesses. The whole thing seems very strange to me.

Joy

They order and then send you a bill. It's weird.

(unlurking...)

There's one here, but it's a bit more expensive:

Never heard of this site before I googled it so don't know if it's a
good place to shop, though...

I bought the same blanky from a flyer that came in one of my Science
Fiction Book Club mailings this spring. But I barely got to use it
before my little monster (Kotyo, a 5 year-old tuxedo gentleman)
appropriated it. It's his blanky now :-)

Nadia (and Kotyo) - back to lurking...

You're welcome to stay de-lurked, you know. Kotyo is a most handsome cat
who looks like he might have made himself the subject of a few anecdotes
in his time.

Heh. Have you seen the one that says "Let me get this straight. My
grandchild is a cat?"

Very fitting for me to wear. :-)

Harriet Carter! I used to love that catalog! They think of all kinds
of things that make your life easier, that I would never have come up
with myself!

What a *gorgeous* boy!! He's so fluffy and plush! And what unusual
markings on his front legs and paws, kind of Holstein-ish. But what a
face. He looks like a real character.

I've bought things from Harriet Carter for years. They're a reliable
company.
