The vomiting has ceased, and he is eating normally again. Unfortunately

Fortunately the vet trimmed the fur off his backside the other day so he
did not soil himself much at all. Other than that he is back to being
his normal catself.

Some live gut-bacteria would help him with that - acidophilus, or
even some yogurt containing live culture, if he'll eat that. You can
get acidophilus at pretty much any pharmacy.

I will look into that thanks for the suggestion. Either that or I can
run down to the Petsmart nearby that sells probiotic bacteria in a tube.

He is better but still vomits from time to time but it is food that is
not digested so I think he is either eating too fast or too much that
his system is not ready to handle. I have reviewed the label on both his
and my other cats dry food and it used to state that it contained
probiotics to maintain proper digestive function - which used to help
when he had this problem in the past. It no longer states that on any of
the Nutro Natural Choice foods at all. It does not contain corn but rice
which is supposed to be the easiest cereal grain to digest. I have been
researching some of the ingredients on the label to determine what they
are. But it looks like the formulas have been changed or they have
changed the label to more closely indicate what is in the food. But he
is doing ok. He is eating normally, and using the box. He is still
experiencing some diarrhea but it seems to be tapering off.

I am considering changing his food as I am researching some of the
ingredients on the label to determine what they are and are for. I will
post a separate message under a different subject with that information
at a later date. There are two which I am closely scrutinizing at this
point: dried bacillus licheniformis fermentation extract, and dried
bacillus subtilis fermentation extract.
