Default Isis Birthday

Well in a couple of days it'll be Isis' birthday. I have decided to get her
Seabiscuit on DVD because she would enjoy watching it and of course probably
get into all the movement of the horse races. Does anyone else here besides
me get movies, music and other gifts for their cat's birthday? I could get
Isis mice and other toys but this year it was a bit non-traditional and low
key. In other words it looks like a quiet time at home for the day.

Greetings:

When my eldest cat turned one year old, I bought a can of cat food (he usually
eats dry), and upended it on a plate so it kept the shape of the can. The I
iced it with plain yogurt and decorated it with cat treats. I put the "cake" on
the floor and made my then-husband sing happy birthday with me!

The cat was not terribly enthused, but I got a kick out of it! And no, I
haven't done it again - once is enough!

Best, Amy

That is as cute as can be!! I love cleverness, even messy cleverness! I can
imagine the clean up, unless kitty cleaned up the yogurt for ya LOL

We celebrate and sing to our silly boys on their birthdays, but I cannot
even imagine buying them a movie. We do watch some TV and occasionally they
get into that and it's adorable, but they'd never sit for a movie.

We go for the stuff they love, catnip, toys, etc
